Do you have hot tubs at your glamping site?

We briefly considered hot tubs however...

Whilst many hot tubs can be run by solar or burn logs to heat etc. it does require the water to be replaced after each guest under Health and Safety guidelines:

(HSG282 - The control of legionella and other infectious agents in spa systems’)

which amounts to potentially many hundreds of thousands of litres of water each year along with the chemicals etc. required!

So we do not have hot tubs but if you decide to stay at a glamping site with a hot tub it may be worth considering/asking about the following points from the host:

Has a risk assessment been performed for the hot tub?
Does the hot tub conform to HSG282 standards?
Are there records on all pertinent information? e.g. water changes/quality checks

Don't just take our word for it..

"Gareth and Jo really made our trip! From welcoming us to the site, giving us recommendations and making sure everything was running smoothly. The tent was fantastic and perfect for what we were looking for (it was also our first time Glamping). A perfect place to stay to see Snowdonia! And perfectly located for bus travel around the park."

"Gareth and Jo are superb hosts. They’ve clearly worked very hard to make their accommodation a fantastic place to stay. They were so welcoming and friendly, it was a pleasure to stay. The yurts are lovely and super cosy with the stove lit. Having a private bathroom was an unexpected luxury. It was great to enjoy fresh coffee and a cooked breakfast in the morning. And even better to be able to order pie & mash with wine after a long day’s cycling. An added bonus was that they were very happy to store our bikes securely for us overnight. We’d love to stay again :-)"
